We will continue to order from "The Galway Roast" throughout 2024 as we did in 2023. We have tried most of the coffee roasting companies in Ireland and several in the UK but none compare. We gifted packets of Guatemala SHB Single Origin Coffee beans 200g and bought some grinders for our family and friends this Christmas to enjoy their coffee as we do. The Galway Roast story began when founder Niall Murphy initially purchased a 1 kilo roaster from Turkey with the view to roasting his own blend of coffee beans to use in his Tuam café.
Niall attended a roasting course in London and after experimenting with different coffee beans and blends “The Galway Roast” was born!
It wasn’t long before Niall was getting orders for his unique coffee beans blend and after 6 months of late nights and early mornings he decided to upgrade the roaster.
The new roaster arrived in December 2010 and The Galway Roast has been growing ever since.
The Galway Roast blend comprises three different coffee beans – Brazil, Guatemalan and Honduras all hand Roasted in small batches and then mixed together in their own special way!
